WIND RESISTANCE UNI EN 12211 – UNI EN 12210

WIND RESISTANCE UNI EN 12211 – UNI EN 12210

This means the capacity of a casing subjected to strong pressure and/or pressure drops, like those caused by wind, to maintain an acceptable deformation, preserve its properties and safeguard the safety of users. UNI EN 12210 classifies casings according to wind pressures (Pascal – Pa) in five classes (1,2,3,4,5) and three classes for permanent deformations (A,B,C); pair them to get the performance code (C3, B5, A1, etc). Below is a table of comparison of the pressures and Pascal and the equivalent windspeed.
